Year -69 PK
Kazuo is born in Numachi. Oni armies attack the eastern borders of Numachi. War begins.

Year -66 PK
Kodama independents join the war, allied with Numachi. Wild Vanara enlist in the Numachi Army. Oni armies conquer all of eastern Numachi. The Tengu-ji Monks and the Forgotten Kingdom remain neutral, defending their own territories.

Year -64 PK
Kodama forces attempt to flank east to surround the Oni by route of the southern Banshi Mountains. This results in the first encounter with the Akuma. From an army of one thousand, only ten men survive to tell the tale. The legendary reputation of Akuma lethality is spread.

Year -61 PK
Oni conquer all of Numachi, and begin to march south. Kodama territorials and remnants of the Numachi Army entrench themselves along the border lands. The Forgotten Kingdom seals the gates of the Sanzuken Pass. Tengu-ji Mountain is abandoned in the face of the Oni armies.

Year -56 PK
Oroborus awakens. A year of constant thunderstorms begins in Numachi and Kodama.

Year -55 PK
The Naga flee the chaotic rivers and lakes of Kodama, entering the Sea of Mana. The jungles of Numachi flood, the highest land becoming marshes. Tengu-ji Mountain becomes Tengu-ji Island. The Oni are forced to retreat in the face of the changing landscape.

Year -51 PK
The Northern Banshi mountains erupt in volcanic activity, filling the sky with thick ash. Almost all traces of the once powerful Oni civilization disappear. Tengu return to Tengu-Ji Island and begin to rebuild their defaced temple.

Year -50 PK
Crops fail across the world, famine and plague begins. Cities become ruins, most records of history are lost or destroyed in the chaos. Nezumi refugees appeal to Numachi for aid, and are promptly enslaved.

Year -47 PK
Powerful earthquakes cause the snow caps of the Sanzuken Mountains to redirect river flow towards their eastern face. With no rainfall or major sources of fresh water, The Forgotten Kingdom disappears, and the Wastes are formed.

Year -38 PK
Kazuo introduces revolutionary practices in medicine and farming, combating the famine and plague. Conditions in Kodama and Numachi begin to improve. Kodama territorials sign an agreement with Numachi, becoming an official state of Numachi.

Year -25 PK
Kazuo founds the Sazanami Dojo within the branches of the World Tree.

Year Zero
After years of meditation, Kazuo faces Oroborus at the peak of the World Tree. Their souls are joined as one, and Oroborus returns to rest within the heart of the tree. The world is filled with light, and the curse is lifted. Hibiki is born in Kodama.

Year 2 AK
Numachi reclaims it's former territories, cities are rebuilt. Numachi General Hiraku is named Emperor of Numachi.

Year 19 AK
The Sazanami Monks and Emperor Hiraku honor the memory of Kazuo by creating the first city within the branches of the World Tree.

Year 27 AK
Kodama prospers as Numachi watches jealously. Emperor Hiraku demands high taxes from Kodama. Rebellion begins.

Year 29 AK
Kodama farmers kill several Numachi Samurai when they demand tax. Emperor Hiraku responds by making the possession of weapons illegal to all but the Gentry caste. Anyone caught with a weapon is killed as a Rebel.

Year 31 AK
Rebellion intensifies as Numachi divides Kodama amongst Diamyo. A series of battles erupt between the Diamyo's samurai and an army of Kodama Rebel forces. Assassinations become frequent, with Akuma mercenaries becoming a common presence within the Ningen provinces.

Year 33 AK
Hibiki, a Sazanami Monk, meets with Emperor Hiraku to plead for an end to the bloodshed. During this meeting, Hiraku dies of asphyxiation.

Year 34 AK
A power vacuum is left in the absence of Emperor Hiraku, and Numachi dissolves into a collection of independent states. Numachi's many Diamyo war against each other for dominance of their divided country. Upon his return, Hibiki is declared a national hero by the Kodama Rebels. Hibiki vehemently denies any involvement in the demise of Emperor Hiraku.

Year 35 AK
Makoto Teiji is born in Kodama.

Year 37 AK
Hibiki reluctantly agrees to become Emperor of Independent Kodama. Kodama once again begins to prosper under his humble rule.

Year 41 AK
Emperor Hibiki and the Sazanami Monks send goods and financial aid to each Numachi province in return for an agreement of peace. Numachi calms in response, hesitantly declaring a cease in open hostilities.

Year 43 AK
Emperor Hibiki becomes a folk hero among the Ningen. The Sazanami Monks declare him the spiritual successor of Kazuo. Emperor Hibiki withdraws from the world outside his Royal Palace, ruling Kodama through the Gentry.

Year 52 AK
The Gentry begin enforcing strict regulations upon the lower classes, creating elaborate trade laws that give them rights to massively discounted goods. These regulations become known derogatorily as the "Kuge Burden Laws." The prosperity of Kodama begins to wane, as the Gentry separate themselves and horde their valuables.

Year 55 AK
Makoto Teiji, a simple Ningen leather worker, infiltrates the Royal Palace with the aid of several Vanara accomplices. Makoto pleads with Emperor Hibiki to see the plight of the city with his own eyes. Emperor Hibiki agrees, and responds by eliminating the Kuge Burden Laws, demoting many Gentry families to the status of Merchant Caste.

Year 56 AK
Makoto Teiji is declared Shogun of Kodama. Many families move up and down the caste on Makoto's advice. Makoto's Vanara accomplices become the first non-Ningen to become Kuge.

Year 61 AK
Emperor Hibiki declares Kodama as a neutral zone, welcoming everyone into all branches of his city. The Caste system itself becomes very flexible, as those that prove themselves successful are quickly promoted. Kodama's prosperity peaks, becoming the most influential and diverse country in the known world. Many people migrate to Kodama in search of a better life.

Year 67 AK
Emperor Hibiki dies of old age in his sleep, and the world mourns his loss. The Sazanami Monks declared the findings of a prophecy to the world; At the moment Emperor Hibiki died, his spirit would be passed along to the next Emperor of Kodama. This single spirit would present the same humble nature both Kazuo and Hibiki shared. Shogun Makoto takes the throne as ruler of Kodama, and vows to maintain the lands until the Eternal Emperor's return.

Year 82 AK
Renjiro Teiji, son of Shogun Makoto, is born.

Year 94 AK
The Sazanami Monks begin to travel the world in search of the Eternal Emperor.

Year 103 AK
Shogun Makoto dies, and Shogun Renjiro succeeds him.

Year 104 AK
The young successor makes a sweeping change of law in favor of stricter division of the castes. Most of the Royal Branch becomes inaccessible to the lower classes. The execution of outcastes, the trade and possession of slaves, and the open carrying of weapons are legalized in Kodama.

Year 109 AK
Ichiro Baikahana, son of Kozue and Aiko Baikahana is born.

Year 111 AK
Kozue Baikahana creates the Jade Dragon Inn. This inn proves to be a hub of activity within Kodama, and attracts members of all castes.

Year 115 AK
As the population and division of lower castes continues, the prosperity of Kodama once again begins to decline.

Year 129 AK
Kozue Baikahana dies in a brewing accident. He is survived by his wife Aiko Baikahana and their many children.

Year 137 AK
Modern Day.
